I drew several different layouts in my notebook¬³¬²¬² experimenting with different shelving configurations and hanging rod placements¬³¬²¬² I considered the placement of my longer dresses and coats¬³¬²¬² and how to best utilize the vertical space¬³¬²¬² I also thought about the flow of the closet ¬³¬²¬² how easily I could access different items¬³¬²¬² I even considered the type of storage solutions I might need ¬³¬²¬² baskets for smaller items¬³¬²¬² drawers for folded clothes¬³¬²¬² etc¬³¬²¬² Initially¬³¬²¬² I considered custom built-ins¬³¬²¬² but the cost was prohibitive¬³¬²¬² Therefore¬³¬²¬² I opted for a more budget-friendly approach¬³¬²¬² focusing on maximizing the space with readily available shelving and storage solutions¬³¬²¬² My planning phase took a few evenings¬³¬²¬² but it was worth it¬³¬²¬² Having a clear plan before I started shopping prevented impulsive purchases and ensured I bought the right amount of storage to perfectly fit my space¬³¬²¬² It was surprisingly satisfying to see my ideas take shape on paper¬³¬²¬² and I felt a sense of accomplishment even before I¬³¬²¬²d started the actual transformation¬³¬²¬²
